Creating a Bespoke Bookcase

One of our favourite things to create in the workshop are beautiful bespoke bookcases. These are always time intense pieces but they allow us to use a variety of techniques and really push our wood working and finishing skills.

We recently designed a stunning wooden bookcase to perfectly fit the back wall of a room. The design blends seamlessly with the skirting and coving in the room and creates the impression it has always been there.

The bookcase has several rows of shelves that we are sure will hold some amazing tales and there are two handy cupboards incorporated into the design too.
